Ya, I know I'm obsessed with my children and everything they do.... I don't consider it a problem. We spent the day on Tuesday watching the track meet, and cheering on the grade 5 boys- because that was the group we were "organizing" and taking from station to station. Jacob did well despite his puffy, allergy eyes. It's been a BAD week for a lot of people. I guess it's because there are so many lovely growing things here that all want to pollinate and blow up people's nostrils all at the same time (that's nursey techno talk).
Long Jump... will take him to the divisional track meet next week.... top 2 finishers go to the city event. This is the first year they've done that, so it will be exciting!
His buddy, didn't make it in the long jump, but smoked in the 200m sprint and placed in the 100m.
Jacob misses the 100m finals by a nose!
And placed 7th in the 800m run. Brave soul, that is the absolute worst event in my opinion!
